In 2016, BAAS DIGITAL took the lead on the digital communications for FreeStyle Libre on behalf of Abbott, one of the world’s leading medical device companies. Since then, our partnership has grown into a journey with real impact: we’ve planned and delivered digital campaigns that made a difference, while also building something even more meaningful, a strong community that gives a voice, solutions, and support to people living with diabetes.
Through targeted performance activity across Meta and Google DV360, we helped our client earn the community’s trust by guiding people into a new era of diabetes management, reducing the everyday burden of finger pricks, and clearly demonstrating the benefits of sensor-based glucose monitoring in real life. That momentum carried into mobile, too: we propelled Abbott’s app to No. 1 in the charts on both the App Store and Google Play, reaching thousands of downloads in the Medical category in under a month from launch.
